McConnells Equestrian Center is a 100-acre western destination featuring performance horse events, dining, shopping, and event spaces designed for riders, families, and the community. It is currently under construction and we are planning to open in phases starting in the summer of 2026. Follow us on social media for weekly updates on progress. 

McConnells Equestrian Center is located in McConnells, South Carolina, just outside the Rock Hill area.

We host a variety of western and performance horse events, community gatherings, celebrations, live entertainment, and private events throughout the year. Contact us if you would like to host a large event in one of our arenas or a private gathering on the grounds. 

Yes! Visitors are welcome during operating hours, public events, and dining hours. Check the individual business hours as they may differ. 

Admission varies depending on the event. Some events may be free to attend while others may require tickets or entry fees.

McConnells Equestrian Center plans to host performance horse competitions, ranch-style events, clinics, exhibitions, and western riding events. The arenas are available for any type of equine association to rent them for their events. 

Yes, event participation details and registration information will be posted for each individual event. 

Yes, select events may offer stall availability. Details will be included with event registration information.

Outside food and beverages may be restricted during certain events. Please check event-specific guidelines before attending.

Yes, ample parking will be available for guests and spectators. If you are competing in the equestrian events and are bringing a horse trailer or RV, there will be parking and hookup spots available for you.

McConnells Hardware & Mercantile sells hardware essentials, tools, ranch supplies, and work necessities, it’s built to serve both hardworking hands and everyday needs. The mercantile section of the store offers local goods and handcrafted products from the surrounding community. 

The Arena Feed Store offers quality livestock feed, fencing supplies, and essential ranch products, the store provides dependable solutions for your needs.

Oak & Hide Steakhouse is an upscale, dinner-only restaurant and serves premium cut Steaks and Seafood options, Appetizers, hand-crafted Cocktails, curated Wines and delicious desserts. 

Arena Grill offers classic comfort food including biscuits and gravy, pancakes, burgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, quesadillas, and more.

Sweet Caroline’s serves various BBQ, Burgers, Sandwiches, Wings, Appetizers, and more.

Yes, guests can enjoy both dine-in and takeout options at The Arena Grill, Oak & Hide Steakhouse, and Sweet Caroline’s.

McConnells Social Club is a private event venue available for birthday parties, celebrations, meetings, community events and more. The venue can comfortably seat up to 80 guests and includes WiFi, parking, restrooms, a kitchen prep and food storage area, and a stage for live music or entertainment.
